Morning

Routine seems to be a dirty word at my house. No sooner do I decide to institute one than it is destroyed by circumstance, by child, by the previous nights insomnia, and mostly by myself.
I seem to be one of the few people in the world who does not function well under a routine. I bore easily I guess.
I am also, always stressed.
And I have at least one child who NEEDS a structured routine.
So...here is my one hundred and forthieth million gazzillion effort at a (loose) routine.
Wake up.
Wake up kids.
Everyone get dressed.
Every one straighten rooms and gather up dirty laundry.
Go downstairs. Take laundry basket with me.
Take dog out.
Make and eat breakfast.
Put in a load of laundry.
Start kids on school.
Clean kitchen, blog, read email, and do Bible study while they do Independent work.

I already hate it.

I know what you mean about routines. The only routine I can follow is in the evening, to get things ready for the next day. Because if I don't, the next day SUCKS.
So where are the pics from your project you called me about the other day?? Hmmmmm?????

Bordom should be easy to avoid by letting the kids help with everylittlething you do. ;) I have found that no matter how you do the things that start your day... the kids will brighten it up. Today it was deciding that the french toast wasn't nearly as good as last weeks and throwing it on the floor, which had to be cleaned up before the syrup stuck to the carpet. See... one more thing that wasn't in routine. ;)

I have two that thrive on routine and one that could care less... but I am a morning person. So it all works out ok. :)
